At Online Design, each team member works harmoniously with and for the other to drive preliminary concepts into hard-hitting reality. Online Design has a professional, diverse and talented team, which collaborates for innovative concepts and ideas. As a result, we're collectively motivated to ensure success over your competition.
The Online Design team weaves experience and practical skills from web and print design, illustration, marketing and advertising, e-commerce, computer programming and complex coding, nonprofit and corporate environments.
Scott Nelson :: President
Scott Nelson founded Online Design in 1996 as a sole proprietor, catapulting the company into what is now one of the fastest growing private companies and largest design firms in the Silicon Valley.
Prior to Online Design, Scott worked as Marketing Director at De La Cruz Deli Restaurants and in corporate Marketing at Symantec World Headquarters in Cupertino. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Diego State University and has resided in Los Gatos since 1974. Living out his motto, "work hard and play hard", he's been known to answer his cell phone while skiing at 10,000 feet. In his free time, he also enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, racing and basketball. Scott is happily married and has two beautiful children.
Allison Baerin :: Director, Eclectic Web Services
Allison Baerin joined Online Design in 2000, following years of practice
in both corporate and non-profit environments. Since this time, she's
become the resident Renaissance Woman. In addition to her unique, creative
approach to graphic art and design, Allison brings an extensive background
in system development, support and Information Systems Management (MIS).
She earned her B.S. in Business Management from the University of Phoenix,
with additional has formal training in fine art and graphic design.
Her diverse
interests extend into her personal life as well, where she enjoys a broad
range of activities, from winter sports, hiking and snorkeling,
to photography. Anyone driving by or stopping into the Online Design office
might notice her motorcycle parked outside, of which she also repairs herself.
Lisa Giammona :: Office Manager / House Mom
Lisa Giammona plans and oversees corporate accounting, human resources and administrative support at Online Design. She's also developing her skills in various aspects of design and technical support. She's experienced in all aspects of budgeting, bookkeeping, policy and procedure development, facilities management and related roles, having worked in small to corporate level offices.
Prior to joining Online Design, Lisa also worked as Director and preschool
teacher at a growing childcare development center. She thus knows how to
spoon feed clients throughout the design process. Lisa earned her BA in Childhood
Development from California State University, Chico with a minor in Studio
Art and emphasis on Visual Communications. In her spare time, she practices
ballroom dancing. She also enjoys laughing at her own jokes, singing in the
car and spending time with her son Skyler and husband Rich.
Christopher Bracher :: Sales Director / Idea Generator
Chris Bracher has worked at the corporate level at companies ranging from manufacturing to consumer goods within the software, jewelry and entertainment industries. He's supported the advancement of Adobe Systems, Warner Bros. Animation and Hanna Barbera Studios. Chris is friendly, methodical and naturally creative with an innate ability to conceive and drive highly recognizable brand and marketing concepts. He participates weekly in a local jazz band and enjoys volunteer work with groups such as the Jr. Chamber of Commerce (JayCees) and the San Jose Grand Prix. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science degree from USC and an MBA from Santa Clara University.

Jamie Baughman ::
Project Manager / Multimedia Designer
Jamie Baughman, project manager and multimedia designer at Online Design, coordinates complex client deliverables, expedites projects and acts as a liaison between all parties. His areas of expertise include project/production management, video production and editing, and DVD authoring.
Prior to joining Online Design, Jamie spent five years as operations manager at Polestar Applied Technology, later starting his own film and television production company, Kilroy Films. At Kilroy Films Jamie worked with Fox Television (responsible for American Idol - Season 4), Discovery Channel (responsible for Forensic Factor), The Smithsonian Institute/Mark Stewart Productions (responsible for Cars Deluxe). Most recently, he produced a successful reality show based on the Oakland Raider Cheerleaders. In addition to his work with major studios, Jamie's produced countless corporate video for major clients - from Intel to Google and the Santa Clara Bar Association. He earned his bachelor's degree in Radio, TV and Film Production from San Jose State University, with a Minor in Creative Writing. He's married with two children, living just a short bike ride from the office.
Fernando Perez :: Designer / Web Guru
Fernando Perez has held the position of Web Designer at Online Design since early 2004. His expertise is in graphic design, web development, technical illustrations, 3D graphics, multimedia authoring, image composing, Javascript, CSS, HTML, PHP, ASP and SQL. Perez also has knowledge and understanding of software and hardware troubleshooting and repair, networking and print processing. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Prior to Online Design, Perez accumulated 15 years experience in graphic design and network administration. He holds a degree in liberal studies from Gavilan College and further studies in 3D graphics, graphic design, web development and CADD from San Francisco State University, UC Santa Cruz and Evergreen Valley College, San Jose.
Natalie Nieman :: Graphic Designer / Connoisseur of Aesthetic Elements
Natalie Nieman joined Online Design in 2005 as graphic designer. She brings
more than a decade of print, web and user interface design experience. Nieman
creates consistent, recognizable visuals with decisions based primarily on
the end-user's experience. She holds a degree in Visual Communications with
a Graphic Design concentration from CSU, Chico. Natalie was born and raised
in the Bay Area.

Lisa Evenson :: Copy Writer
Lisa Evenson earned her B.A. in English from California State University, San Bernardino. She’s taken additional MBA courses in finance, public relations and total quality management from Saint Michael's College achieving a 4.0 GPA. Her corporate experience spans Investor Relations, Corporate Communications and Marketing. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, her favorite author being Jeanette Winterson, spending time with her daughter and closest friends.
Bernie Groves :: Multimedia Designer / Makes Stuff Move
Trent Hansen :: Foreign Language Specialist / Web Developer
Trent Hansen is a graphic artist and website developer. He’s currently pursuing his M.Ed. at Griffith University. Fluent in both English and Japanese, he creates multi-lingual websites, business cards, pamphlets, posters, flash movies and media kits. Trent is an avid photographer and musician, often incorporating custom scores and effects into Flash movies or making background music for documentaries. His main tools are Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, GoLive, Dreamweaver, Flash and Reason. Trent is married and has three lovely daughters. He enjoys computers, Asian culture, science fiction, painting and art.
