When Online Design builds a web site, what browsers will it work in?

Print

We test all web sites that we build on both PCs and Macs. A web site built by Online Design will look and perform correctly in the following browsers:

On the PC: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Netscape

One the Mac: Safari, Firefox and Netscape (see note about Internet Explorer below)

Why isn’t Internet Explorer for the Macintosh included in our testing?

Microsoft ceased further development on this browser in June 2003. They have terminated support for this browser as of December 31, 2005 and it will no longer be available for download by the end of 2006.

Because of these decisions, this browser has not been updated to keep up with advances in coding techniques used in web site development. Because it is a "dead" browser which would require extensive additional time to build for, we do not include it in our testing.
